Special Mission Recognition Award – 2025
We joyfully celebrate Dee Popolo, recipient of our Special Mission Recognition Award for 2025! Dee has faithfully served our church through her hard work and dedication, and she stepped into an officer’s role when our group needed her most. We are deeply grateful for her commitment and servant heart.
Honoring Our Eldest Member – Happy Birthday, Alice!
We were blessed to have Alice Mazzi with us at our recent meeting, where we presented her with an early birthday gift of love, respect, and honor. Alice is our eldest, dearest, and most devoted member.
In recognition of her lifelong service, we are proposing to name our shared meeting space “The Mazzi Meeting Room.” This proposal will be presented to the Church Council for approval next week.
District Awards – Celebrating Our Mission Work
At the Delaware Bay UWF Fall District Meeting on September 20th, 2025, held at Pitman UMC, our Vineland First UWF was honored with two awards:
- 5-Star Missions Award
- Mission Today Silver Achievement Award
We extend heartfelt thanks to our wonderful congregation! Your participation, support, and generous donations made these achievements possible.

Tickets for "Joe's Poultry" Platters
Tickets are now available for our delicious “Joe’s Poultry” fundraiser platters! Each platter is $15 and includes a half-chicken, potato salad, coleslaw, applesauce, and a roll. Tickets may be used anytime through January 31st. Proceeds support our ongoing mission work—thank you for helping us make a difference!
Annual Hats/Gloves/Scarves Collection
Our seasonal collection begins again soon! We gratefully welcome your donations of hats, gloves, and scarves to help the children of CP&P (Child Protection & Permanency) stay warm this winter. In recent years, your generosity has also allowed CP&P to share excess donations with the Cumberland Family Shelter on Mays Landing Road. Thank you for continuing to warm hearts and hands throughout our community!

United Women in Faith at Vineland First United Methodist Church is a vibrant community of women committed to growing in faith, deepening friendships, and serving others. Rooted in prayer, study, and fellowship, we gather to encourage one another and to put our faith into action. Whether through Bible study, mission projects, or simply sharing life together, we strive to create a welcoming space where women of all ages and backgrounds can feel connected and supported.
As part of the wider United Women in Faith movement within the United Methodist Church, our group is dedicated to making a difference locally and globally. We participate in service opportunities, support ministries that uplift women and children, and advocate for justice and compassion in our community and beyond. Together, we seek to live out Christ’s love in tangible, meaningful ways as we respond to God’s call to serve.
